It’s most probably happening to the Steam users and we have a possible workaround to fix it. To fix it: Open the Steam client on the PC > Click on Library. Right-click on Guild Wars 2 from the left pane > Select Properties. Now, click on General > Make sure to Turn OFF the Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game option.

After rebooting PC it let me login again. There were some client freezing, lots of lag, but now seems back to normal again.
Issues: - getting disconnected from the game (game client unable to gain access to the login server) - unable to login - if I get into the game, I am disconnected again within minutes - typed chat isn't coming through - guild tab wasn't getting populated, with a note that there might be connectivity issues.
For Trading Post issues, try clearing your GW2 cache (instructions found in the Knowledge Base accessed via the 'Support' link above/below).If you have an Nvidia graphics card, read the Dev posts concerning this issue (via the Carousel - front page). Good luck.
I try to Login and sometimes the launcher does not save my password and or email address . Now this morning I try to buy some gems and it says my purchase is being reviewed . I have been playing this game for 7 years and never had a issue about buying gems before , my card was always instant purchase.
The only way to temporary fix the issue is to delete the local.dat into my guild wars 2 folder and replace it with a my old version that i back-up two weeks ago. But once i log out, the next time i log-in the local.dat is overwritten and so the issue back. I need to replace the file everytime before i log-in.
